Rotary donors have surpassed major fundraising targets this year, raising over US$569 million and pushing the Endowment past its 2025 goal. These funds support global grants, disaster relief, and Rotary’s continued fight to end polio. Rotary leaders praised the generosity of members worldwide.
Rotary & Mayor of Monash Charity Golf Day Drives Support for Local Charities On 20 October 2025, ninety-two golfers teed off at Riversdale Golf Club in Mount Waverley for the Mayor of Monash Charity Golf Day.
With Riversdale Golf Club as the major sponsor, and strong support from a range of generous sponsors, the day brought together golfers, Rotarians, and community members for a great cause.
Before play commenced, participants were welcomed by Mayor Paul Klisaris, and following a fantastic day on the course, 111 guests gathered for dinner and a charity auction — boosting much-needed funds for local causes.
Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Waverley, Monash Glen Waverley, and Mount Waverley, under the chairmanship of Barry Muldoon, this long-standing event has been running since 1978, raising over $1 million to date for community groups in need.
This year’s major beneficiary is the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre in Glen Waverley, with additional support going to the Monash Children’s Hospital Cancer Centre.

1st Prize was ticket 25901 sold by the Sorrento Bowls Club
2nd Prize was ticket 08610 sold by the Forever Friends Animal Rescue
3rd Prize was ticket 17061 sold by the Oakleigh Golf Club.
Of the 100,000 tickets we handed out 75,600 tickets.
45 clubs / organisations took part in the raffle.
For those who would like to know, the best 3 selling clubs sold a combined amount of nearly $30,000.00
The presentation evening was the 5th August which was well attended by the participating clubs. We handed out some raffle tickets on the night for a club / organisation to win an extra $5,000.00. This money went to the Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield. Congratulations.
Attended the President’s and Leader’s dinner meeting on Friday evening, May 30, 2025 and our club was given a Club Excellence Award, Silver, for achieving a number of significant goals during 2024-2025.
