Expression of Interest GWS Community Raffle 2026
The Rotary Club of Waverley, in conjunction with GWS Automotive Group and its motor vehicle dealerships, invite participation from local schools, Sporting Clubs, Charities and Community Groups to be involved in the 2026 “GWS Community Raffle.”
We have now raised over $955,351.62 to date over ten (11) years, for our community, with many clubs and organisations participating. With your help we want to surpass $1 million raised for local clubs, charities and organisations this year.
The Raffle will be run and organised by the Rotary Club of Waverley with GWS Automotive Group, BP/Castrol Oil and Angle Auto Finance donating all of the raffle prizes at no cost to the community group.
The First Prize is $20,000.00 towards the purchase of a New or Used vehicle from the GWS Automotive Group, Second Prize is a $1,000.00 fuel voucher and Third Prize is JB HiFi Voucher valued at $500.00.
To ensure the raffle is a success for each community group, ALL proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets will be returned to that group. Raffle tickets will be sold at $2.00 each or a book of ten tickets at $20.00.
The cost of ticket printing and distribution will be covered by Angle Auto Finance and GWS Automotive Group. Tickets will be available for sale from Monday 23rd February 2026 and must be returned to the Rotary Club of Waverley (PO Box 204, Mount Waverley 3149) no later than Friday 26th June 2026 together with all proceeds, unsold raffle tickets and sold raffle butts. Monies collected for the tickets sold need to be forwarded by EFT. (Bank details will be supplied near the end of the raffle).
The raffle will be drawn at GEELY 1611 Dandenong Road, Oakleigh 3161 at 3:00pm on the Thursday, 16th July 2026. There is no requirement for ticker holders to attend the draw of the winning tickets although representatives from participating community groups are welcome to be present.
The presentation of the three raffle prizes to the winners and the opportunity for 5 (five) community groups present to win $1,000.00 for their club/organisation/charity will be held at 5.30pm on Wednesday, 29th July also at GEELY 1611 Dandenong Road, Oakleigh 3166,
Monies will be transferred via EFT two (2) weeks after the draw. Further details of the presentation evening will be advised at the time of the raffle draw.
