    The Rotary Club of Waverley in conjunction with Garry and Warren Smith would like to inform you that:
    The winners of the raffle have been drawn, and it is time to return your money.

    WELCOME TO THE MILLION-DOLLAR CLUB.

    Yes, we have now raised more then $1,000,000.00 for local community clubs and organisations. Thank you all who have participated.

    The draw was completed on the 16th July 2026.
    Please find below the winning ticket numbers and the organisations which sold the ticket.

    • 1st Prize. $20,000.00 towards the purchase of a new or used car from the GWS group.
    o Ticket number 51370 (Sold by Waverley Gymnastics).

    • 2nd Prize. $1,000.00 BP Fuel Card.
    o Ticket number 59947 (Sold by Waverley Gymnastics).

    • 3rd Prize. JB Hifi voucher to the value of $500.00
    o Ticket number 08538 (Sold by Rotary Club of Nunawading).

  • September theme focuses on Basic Education & Literacy

    This is one of Rotary’s seven areas of focus.  We all know how critical reading and writing are for success in life – for gaining information, communicating, making agreements, and so forth. Enhancing Basic Education skills and Literacy are essential in reducing poverty, improving health, encouraging community and economic development, and promoting peace.  Improvements can reduce maternal death, improve childhood survivability, and reduce poverty.  They can also enable success in business or a profession. 

    Projects undertaken by a Rotary Club can address low adult literacy, returning youth to school, enhancing student performance, or supplementing limited school resources.
    These programs support our 2026-27 Rotary year theme of “Create Lasting Impact”

  • Looking ahead for 2026-27

    As we look ahead to 2026-27, the Rotary Club of Waverley is excited for the year to come. After a strong and rewarding year, we look forward to continuing our work in the community, strengthening connections, and supporting meaningful projects locally and globally.

  • supporting Cerebral Palsy Education Centre

    Today the Mayor of Monash Golf Day Committee, consisting of representatives from the Rotary Clubs of Waverley, Monash Glen Waverley and Mount Waverley handed over a cheque of $30,000.00 being proceeds raised from the Mayor of Monash Golf day to the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre.
    Another great Rotary Club achievement.

  • Sporting Attitude Award night

    Last evening the Rotary Club of Waverley held their yearly Sporting Attitude Award night. We have been doing this since 2011.

    Some 20 Primary schools in the Monash municipality attended. We recognise primary school children who display the following attributes: A genuine spirit of fair play and sportsmanship. Humble in victory and gracious in defeat and always trying to the best of his/her ability.

    Supportive of team mates and courteous to opponents. Plays the game for the fun of the game.
